January 2026 Reading Wrap-up and February Hopefuls
And just like that, 2025 is over. Where did this year go? Maybe it flew by so fast because I read a butt-ton of books. In December alone I read 22 books. Ten of the books were audiobooks, and one of the ten was an ALC. Only two of the books I read were from subscription boxes and as of now, I have successfully completed my 2025 reading prompt challenge as well as my 25 in 2025 TBR backlist challenge. I also crushed my Goodreads goal. Go me!

Month ahead:
I’m continuing on my mood reader journey rather than have a strict TBR each month, though I do intend to prioritize Black authors when possible since it’s Black history month. I’ll also be reading several ARCs/ALCs.
I’m planning to also read the following this month:
- Black Cake by Charmaine Wilkerson
- The Girls Before by Kate Alice Marshall (ALC)
- Blob by Maggie Su
